Manwich 006 225x300 The Manwich SandwichMy mom had a slight twist on an All-American sandwich. I tried to duplicate it. Although it wasn’t quite the same, I must say, it was pretty tasty. Enjoy!

Cooking Time: 8-12 minutes

Total Time: 10-15 minutes

Serving Size: 2-3 people


  • mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 can (15.5 oz) of Hunt’s Manwich (original Sloppy Joe sauce)
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • hamburger buns
  • salt, ground black pepper and Lawry’s seasoned salt


  • skillet (10-12″)
  • wooden spoon
  • cheese grater
  • stainless steel strainer


  1. Place ground beef in skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Add seasoning and cook ground beef breaking into smaller pieces
  3. Drain meat in strainer and return to skillet
  4. Add Manwich sauce and heat through
  5. Add cheese and allow to melt as you stir
  6. Toast hamburger bun
  7. Serve on bun

Note: Start off by using 3/4 of the Manwich sauce. For desired consistency, add additional sauce according to your preference.
